Service Service

Project Manager
January 2025 - May 2025

Service Service is a tech startup under All My Sons Moving & Storage developing an AI-driven app & web platform in React. Their platform connects users with service providers, focusing on developing a strong relationship & creating repeat customers.

Starting on the project, my first priority was getting a unified Single Source of Truth together. With this, I was able to greatly reduce our leadership’s workload by turning our conversations into clearly written documents, making it easier to delegate work & eliminating previous bottlenecks due to having only one subject matter expert. Our QA team also had better defined requirements, improving their understanding of various features & making the bugs they listed more meaningful to the team. Finally, by creating a style guide that integrated Figma & Storybook, I helped the developers reuse components, ensuring our UI was uniform across our app & webpage.

Throughout the six months I spent at Service Service, my efforts resulted in cleaner code, improved stylistic consistency, and faster turnaround on features. Because of this, we were able to successfully pass our first milestone & secure additional funding for the next stage of the project.

My contributions:

  • Created clearer feature documentation & reorganized Confluence spaces, improving the team's understanding of each distinct persona comprising our agentic AI & increasing back-end developers' velocity by 25%
  • Ensured a consistent customer experience across platforms by overseeing the update of our CRM's web version to have the same flow & UI components as the app
  • Created new Confluence space for the team, compiling information from multiple different spaces created over the years & writing new documentation to define future features, making it easier for leadership to delegate work & for the team to understand their assignments
  • Closely collaborated with Design Lead to develop a style guide for developers & stakeholders to refer to, resulting in much more consistent implementation of components & making it faster to review frontend work
